This screen is the Concepts Menu. From here you can choose the specific Concepts section you’d like to view. The buttons to the right of the screen are available throughout the software. They are, from top to bottom: Home, Back, Help, Volume, Glossary and Quit. Home takes you to the Home Screen and Back takes you to the screen you’d just viewed. The Help button plays a short audio clip that briefly describes the screen you are viewing. You can get help on specific buttons by holding down the Control key and clicking the button in question. The Volume control button will move through the volume settings as you click on it, getting louder each time and then returning to no sound. The Glossary is not available in the Tutorials section of the software, but is available everywhere else. It opens a glossary of terms that are used in the software and throughout the tutorials. The Quit button will allow you to quit the software entirely. |

This is the Concepts Control screen. The window to the left is a scrolling text window where the concepts information can be read. Embedded in this text information are multimedia icons. You can click these icons to view QuickTime movies that will illustrate various Concepts topics. The example movies are displayed in the window at the lower right of the screen. You can completely control the movies with the Pause/Play button and the movie control slider below the movie window. The concepts sub-topics are listed at the upper right of the screen. Clicking the button next to a sub-topic will change the text information in the text window and give access to different example movies.
