Add a high-speed RS-232 port to your Pocket PC or Handheld PC Pro with the CompactFlash CF+ version of the Socketr Serial I/O Card or Ruggedized Serial I/O Card. Connect to the world of serial devices such as fax/modems, digital cameras, bar code scanners, data collection gear, GPS receivers, label printers - you name it! Windows treats the cards just like COM ports, so setup is a snap.
The S-I/O Card includes a removable cable with a male DB-9 connector. For industrial applications, Socket offers the R-I/O Card with a "Ruggedized" non-removable cable with a molded strain relief.
Universal Compatibility
Socket's CF+ cards use the CompactFlash Type I form factor, so they fit in Type I or II slots and work with all Windows-powered PCs and Handheld PC Pros. The ultra thin Type I form factor fits into a standard PC Card adapter (not included), so you can use the cards to add COM ports to any Handheld PC with a PC Card slot. 3.3 volt or 5 volt operation makes them the world's first universal plug-in cards for Windows-powered computers.
