The Smart HealthTM Calendar The Smart Health Calendar is a sophisticated event diary designed to address the individual medical and health needs of the consumer. Balance PC simplifies the planning, recording, monitoring and analyzing of blood glucose levels, medications, diet, and other parts of your daily regimen. Balance can automatically transfer blood glucose readings that are stored in your blood glucose meter into its Smart Health Calendar.

The Managers The Balance PC Managers organize the information that has been entered in the Smart Health Calendar into preset reports and graphs. There are specific Managers for diabetes, diet and weight, exercise, medications and symptoms. The Daily Analyzer Report summarizes all the major factors that impact your blood glucose levels, such as medication, symptoms and diet. The Daily Analyzer monitors related events to understand their effect on blood glucose levels.

The Library The Balance PC Library is an extensive reference of health and diabetes information. Among the information that is included in the library are diabetes and general health encyclopedias, information on medications and supplies, "how to" lessons that cover diabetes lifestyle topics, special diets and recipes, over 15,000 foods and their nutrients, 4,000 prescription and non-prescription medications including sugar-free, and 1,000 symptoms and conditions.

The Personal Medical Record The Personal Medical Record is a diary that lets you track your current health status and past medical history. A quarterly diabetes report can be printed from this part of the program, giving you an intelligent and thorough record to bring to your health care providers.
